About Inman Park Restaurant Week:
Located just two miles east of downtown Atlanta, Inman Park is not only the home of gracious Victorian mansions and contemporary new lofts, but also a major culinary destination. Restaurant-rich, the area has more than 14 restaurants and pubs, offering everything from American, Southern, European and ethnic cuisine to your favorite pub dishes. No wonder Inman Park has become an area with an increasingly sophisticated palate. http://www.inmanparkrestaurantweek.com/
The Albert is one of my favorite spots. It’s close to everything and it has a nice atmosphere. So I knew that it would be on my list for restaurant week. 3 items for $15!! Can’t beat that. I would say that the custom menu was heavy on the bacon, and heavy on man-foods. Not to worry we brought an appetite!
What we ate:
Pulled Pork Tacos from The Albert in Inman Park. Topped with jalapeno coleslaw & a side of mac and cheese!
Black and Blue Burger covered in melty blue cheese, and a side of garlic green beans.
Smoked hanger steak. Cooked to perfection!
Hoe Cakes topped with pimento cheese & peper jelly. Salty, sweet and spicy!
Traditional Philly with a special cheese sause! So good!
Chicken & waffles is a southern tradition, but these were smoked quarters with bacon waffles. That’s right, Bacon!
Cupcakes are the perfect end to a feast, not to big, but always delicious!
