From the Website: Located in the heart of Midtown, Après Diem evokes the atmosphere and flavor of the classic cafes and bistros of Europe through its mellow ambiance and eclectic menu. Serving traditional continental cuisine with an updated edge, Après Diem also boasts an extensive and carefully selected wine list to complement your dining experience. Indulge in a delightful dessert from our pastry case and top your meal off with a steaming hot latte or cappuccino!

I’ve been there twice now, and I think overall I really like this place. My complaints, if any, were small. I had the salad with avocados and salmon and the hubs had the massive plate of eggs. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is nice. They have a large outside seating area and are right next to a theatre so it would be a great spot for pre-movie grub & drinks!

For the Hubs B-day week we went to the Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint in Downtown Atlanta for lunch. He had a huge Po’Boy and I had the salmon. This is a great little southern spot that makes amazing fried chicken, greens and the like. I recommend getting the moonshine if you are there at night. The atmosphere is laid back with live music almost always playing. Great resto/bar!

For lunch the other day I went with one of the Everywhere Interns to Noni’s Deli on Edgewood Ave. We were in the mood for sandwiches and were really happy with the plates we received. HUGE portions, fresh ingredients, and well thought out sides.

Noni genoa salami, sop- pressata, mortadella, provolone, tomato, roasted red pepper, pepper-oncini, shredded romaine, house aioli, house vinaigrette on ciabatta $8.5

Spinozzi chicken salad, arugula, lemon vinaigrette, balsamic reduction on toasted ciabatta $8

Great lunch spot! At night this place really kicks it up a notch with a full-bar and great patio. Highly recommend a visit!

Leon’s Full Service Decatur is not a new spot for me, but it was new for lunch. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and the dining area was lightly populated with young couples, some families and lots of hip 20 somethings. Among their offerings Leon’s has a cup of bacon, which is exactly what is sounds like, and can be served with peanut butter. We opted for something a little less greasy and ordered the Baby Iceberg salad, a Baby Arugula with Golden Beets, Candied Orange Peanuts and black cherry vinaigrette. A don’t skip is the Pub Frites with choice of sauce (we had 2: Madras Curry Catsup & Cucumber Dill Yogurt) My favorite plate was the Charred Scallion and Ginger Chicken Sausage with Bok Choy green curry and fried shallot pickles. YUM! Hummus was average. I will definitely stop here any Saturday from now on when shopping in Downtown Decatur.

We stopped by BLT Bar and Grill in NYC on a recent trip for work. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. It was a slow time around lunch so we were able to really take our time and enjoy the meal. We ordered the BLT burger- Amazing! A Chopped Veggie Salad with Salmon, and a Grilled Ginger Chicken salad over Asian Noodles. All portions were huge and full of flavor. I will be back to this restaurant soon!
